I don’t normally pay attention to the Solunar chart since it has failed me often in the past. I do however usually go fishing before work on Tuesdays, and yesterday happened to be an excellent day according to Solunar data. With the weather getting cooler (thankfully!) I figured catfish will be hunkering down for the winter.
It’s fall, temperatures are (finally) getting and staying cooler, and so is the average water temperature. I enjoy fishing for catfish, but they just don’t bite in water temperatures below 75° (they prefer water temps around 82°-84°). I believe I’ve caught one, maybe two in Octobers past in AZ. Rainbow trout, however, are cold water fish, preferring water temperatures between 61°-64°. For the longest time this wasn’t an issue. There were just certain characters that weren’t allowed as file or folder names in the Windows world (%&#/\ and so on). Not too long ago, Microsoft decided it’s ok to accept files and folders in SharePoint with either the % or the # in the file or folder name.
