3 + 0 + 3 – 1 = awesome!
What a day! I set out to spend as much time as I could today fishing. Weather was clear and crisp in the morning but expected to be 80° for a high. Full moon with a lunar eclipse wrapping up right before I left, water temperature the same as the air temperature, should be a great day!
Good morning!
The overnight temperature is finally warm enough for me to go fishing in the morning, so my fuzzy little fishing buddy and I started this year’s regular trips with a trek to Evelyn Hallman.
Kira’s First Fish…and a Goldfish?
We’ve been forever pursuing the elusive event where Kira catches a fish…anywhere. The poor girl has been fishing with me plenty of times for plenty of types of fish, and for some reason they never bite. Finally this morning was different.
New Solunar data website
I’ve implemented a simple .Net 5.0 web application that shows the next 30 days worth of Solunar info for the area near my house.
Carp Tuesday
I don’t normally pay attention to the Solunar chart since it has failed me often in the past. I do however usually go fishing before work on Tuesdays, and yesterday happened to be an excellent day according to Solunar data. With the weather getting cooler (thankfully!) I figured catfish will be hunkering down for the winter.
