Turn a SharePoint list-triggered flow into a recurring flow

Many of us are familiar with setting up an Information Management Policy to have some action run on list items every n days. Maybe this is a status check, an expiration date check, a follow up check, etc. Whatever your business reason, this will be challenging in SharePoint Online, as 2010 workflows aren’t available, and pretty soon 2013 workflows won’t be either. A better approach is to set up a scheduled or recurring Power Automate Flow on the list.

There are two ways to do this, the first being just go to https://make.powerautomate.com and create your Flow, adding your SharePoint connector to your site, the Schedule connector for recurrence and any other connectors or actions needed. The other way is to take an existing Flow (one that you wish was recurring!) and just change the trigger. Here’s a walkthrough of how that can be accomplished:
